Neuropsychopharmacology
A space for qualified clinicians, trainees and students from all areas of health care. We will review the current and future situation of neuropsychopharmacology in the world, the new scientific evidence of pharmacological treatments of major psychiatric disorders.
Neuropsychopharmacology gives us a better understanding of the interaction between psychiatric drugs and brain molecules such as serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, glutamate and others.
We will explore mechanisms of action of psilocybin, multiple neurotransmitter modulators, TORch and NMDA receptors; as well as the determinants of efficacy, tolerability and safety of psychotropic drugs.
